Just thought I’d post a note about this free app I just grabbed off App Store – “Oil Canvas“, developed by Big Canvas Inc.
Basically it allows you to take any photo in your library (or snap a new one) and “redraw” it in a sort of pastel or oil paint style. You can select the size of the “brush” and it draws single brush strokes matching the color underlying the area. Anyway, go grab it, because it’s free! 
Big Canvas developed another interesting (and free) app called PhotoShare – feel free to check it out as well, pretty cool looking.
